Redness, swelling and itching can be caused by various conditions such as dry skin, atopic dermatitis / eczema, allergic skin reactions, and many other skin irritations. The intense itching that can occur causes the sensation of having to scratch, but also causes further damage to the skin. White cream with a cortisone-free formula, which combines a soothing action against itching with a regenerating action of the skin barrier, helping the skin to heal and decreasing the feeling of having to scratch. Used to relieve itching and redness caused by the following cases of skin irritation:
- dry skin;
- Atopic dermatitis;
- eczema;
- allergic reactions.
Strengthens the skin barrier thanks to its lamellar lipid technology (see next section). Through this technology, the lipid layers of the skin itself, which act as a natural protection against irritation, are strengthened and this provides relief from itching and redness and supports skin recovery.
Red, swollen, itchy skin can be caused by dryness, atopic dermatitis / eczema, allergic skin reactions, and many other irritations. Under these conditions, the lipids of the superficial horny layer (also called the skin barrier) are damaged and this can lead to itching. These lipids, which are mainly ceramides, act as a natural protection against irritation. When this skin barrier is damaged, water leaks out of our skin and this leads to dry and itchy skin. Furthermore, the weakened skin barrier is less effective in protecting against the entry of irritants into our body and this causes even more itching. Therefore, in dry skin conditions, atopic dermatitis / eczema, allergic skin reactions and many other skin irritations, restoring the protective skin barrier with the use of special creams to reduce itching is a key part of the treatment.
The skin barrier of the skin is the outermost part of the skin. It is a highly organized structure made up of a succession of layers of lipids: the lamellar lipids which are arranged in overlapping layers. The main lipids in these layers are ceramides. Between these layers, natural emollient creams bind the water within the skin barrier and ensure it is kept properly hydrated.
Contains a special lamellar lipid technology for the relief of irritation and itching. This technology contains lipids with a lamellar structure, similar to the structure of skin lipids, such as ceramides. The oriented lamellar lipids manage to integrate and bind to the damaged lipid barrier of the stratum corneum and restore it. A completely intact protective barrier is very important as when it is damaged it causes itching. Long-lasting hydration helps the skin recover and thus reduces itching and irritation. It also contains physiological wetting agents such as glycerin, which can bind water to the skin. This effect is supported by panthenol which hydrates the skin barrier and thus provides the optimal conditions for the natural regeneration process of the skin.
Unlike normal creams, it does not contain emulsifiers, compounds known to damage the delicate lipid lamellar structure of the skin. Free from fragrances and preservatives, which are known to be irritating. So the product relieves itching by "mimicking" our skin in three ways:
- Providing lipids (eg ceramides) in lamellae as in the skin barrier thanks to a special lamellar lipid technology.
- Providing physiological humectants for increased hydration.
- Providing natural lipids.
This allows for a restoration of the skin barrier resulting in relief from itching.
Used for the relief of itching and redness caused by skin irritation, on the non-injured skin of infants, children and adults. Such skin irritations occur in particular conditions, for example, dry skin, atopic dermatitis, eczema, allergic reactions. It must be used if necessary. Free of cortisone.
It is not to be used:
- If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients in the product. If you have an allergic reaction, you should stop using the product.
- On injured skin.
It can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
When used during breastfeeding: It is important to remove any cream residue before breastfeeding.
