Combines a great seal with clinically proven mouth protection against annoying bacteria and food particles.
The ultra-thin spout allows for controlled and continuous application which creates a constant barrier that prevents food particles from penetrating. Thanks to the easy application mode Double Protection it is specially designed for those who have never used a denture adhesive before.
The antibacterial action reduces bacterial proliferation without damaging the natural flora of the mouth. It also contains a higher level of menthol which, however, does not alter the taste of food and drinks.
How to use
Clean and dry your dentures thoroughly. Apply Kukident to the denture in strips or in a series of spots. Start with a small amount. Do not apply too close to the edges of the dentures. Press firmly and briefly hold in place. If the product leaks out after inserting the dentures, it means that too much of it has been used.
Many denture wearers believe that one application per day is sufficient. If you use Kukident more than once a day or have problems with your dentures, consult your dentist about the shape of the prosthesis.
As Kukident Denture Adhesive absorbs excess water, the grip is loosened. Several techniques can help break the seal between the adhesive and the gum tissue:
- For all types of dentures, rinse your mouth with warm water or a mouthwash.
- For the lower prosthesis, pull gently while shaking.
- For upper dentures, removal may be more difficult due to the larger surface area. Place your thumb against your front teeth and press up and out towards your nose.
To avoid injury, do not use any object other than your fingers (not fingernails) to release the dentures.
To remove adhesive residues from the prosthesis, use Kukident cleaning tablets. To remove adhesive residue from the mouth, gums, tongue and palate, brush the palate and gums with a soft-bristled toothbrush, toothpaste and warm water.
