Compeed HALLUCE VALGUS
Patch specifically designed to be wrapped around the hallux valgus giving quick pain relief. Prevents blistering. Thin and discreet.
Hallux valgus is a progressive disease that begins in the big toe and then gradually spreads to the other toes. Over the years, the angle of the big toe changes, causing the typical swelling on the side of the foot, usually due to lateral toe deviation. The pressure exerted by the shoes and the misalignment of the big toe (lateral deviation) can cause an abnormal skin thickening at the base of the big toe that generates discomfort and intense pain. Hallux valgus can also develop at the joint of the fifth toe.
Hydrocolloid technology helps protect the skin by acting as a cushion against further pressure and thus preventing swelling, blistering or further hardening of the skin around the bunion. Compeed hallux valgus is also suitable for the treatment of blisters or hardening of the skin already present in the area around hallux valgus.
How to use
Make sure the area around the bunion is clean and free of creams and / or oils. Warm Compeed in your hands for one minute before application.
Remove the decorated film, taking care not to touch the adhesive part. Remove the white film.
Avoid touching the adhesive part. Apply Compeed directly on the hallux valgus.
After applying it, place a hand on Compeed to warm it up and promote optimal adhesion.
Leave Compeed applied until it comes off on its own.
Replace if necessary with a new Compeed patch.
Compeed lasts a long time. As the skin heals, the patch loses adhesion on its own. In this way, it acts as a "second skin". Should it be necessary to remove Compeed, gently pull the edge of the patch, stretching it parallel to the skin.
